1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Hebrews 1:3 the ending says and through the Son he created the universe... this is so deep to me it makes me think about John 1:1 and also Genesis 1:1-3 its proof and evidence that Jesus has always been here from the beginning. Its funny how the whole bible confirms each part whether new or old testament and from the beginning it was always about Jesus being the savior its so funny cause in the beginning the earth was dark and without shape, i believe it was this way because Satan was cast down to earth already and he is darkness but then God spoke and said let there be light now Jesus is the word John 1:1 and also the light John 8:12 it says God saw the light was good so he separated the light from the dark since the beginning God created the earth through Jesus Christ and set apart what was good from what was bad (wow) ! God is definitely taking us deeper into his word this study of Hebrews will be a blessing!

These words touched me. Verses 8-9 Your throne will last forever and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom. He was anointed with the oil of gladness because of his love for righteousness and the hate he holds for wickedness. He died for all our sins,and still we are not worthy of him. If we were given one day to walk in his shoes and to feel the pain he endured our thoughts toward him would be so different. Our fight for righteousness needs to be stronger, we need to push harder to show him we're worthy of his grace.

Hebrews 1:1- God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors and through our prophet, and our Lord Jesus, and He is speaking through our Pastor Omar, To preach the word of God to his people. God is waiting for his pastors to come together as one accord, Preaching the same gospel They are all divided preaching about other gods. And living in sin, how can they preach the word when they need to be set free,that's why our people are still in bondage. In the last days I believe God is still speaking to his prophet's and he is about to open doors for his Hebrew people.

Hebrews 1 Hebrews was written during a time when it wasn't easy being a Christian. God is reminding the Jews not to get it twisted by worshiping Angels. This chapter reminds me of the commandment thou shalt not have no other God before me. I am seeing this as a warning to us (The People) about putting her things before God. I like the way God inspired the writer to remind us who Jesus is and what he did. We should respect Angels because God used Angels throughout the bible but we should never worship them. We are to only worship God. I Can't wait until tomorrow.
